Type D sub-Antarctic Orca Encounter

Type D sub-Antarctic orcas were sighted twice on the 2nd November 2012 en route from South Georgia Island to the Beagle Channel in the southern Atlantic Ocean. Three groups were seen during the first sighting, consisting of adult males, females,  sub-adults and small youngsters. One group of three individuals was observed during the second sighting.
