A link to the recording of the bill hearing regarding the preemptive ban on using captive cetaceans (including orca) for entertainment in Washington State, USA.
From Dr. Naomi Rose / From The Dolphin's Point of View: Here is the link to the archive of the hearing. The Committee has until Feb 20 to vote yea or nay. If it passes out of Committee by that date, it will go to the Senate floor. If it passes there, it will go to the House, where similar steps (Committee hearing and vote, House floor vote) will be taken. This entire process will be wrapped up one way or the other by the end of March (the Washington State legislative calendar is accelerated because the legislature is part-time). If it passes the House, it will go to the governor. http://www.tvw.org/index.php?option=com_tvwplayer&eventID=2015021056
